I think I am in desperate need of a vacation.....

I have what I like to call "calgon take me away" syndrome. I feel like I need a change of pace....we have Spring Break time coming up. I am so looking forward to the trip we are planning. Right now it is down to two possibilities....Disney Land and Atlanta. I will be making reservations for one or the other based on the deals I see online in the next week or two. The girls' and I will be making this a mother/daughters trip since Dad has inventory at work and can't get away. We really wish he could go but we understand how crazy this time of year can get for him. We are getting lots of ideas of places to visit and things to do. We are thinking about amusement parks, museums, picnics, bbq'ing for dinners, and making some great memories together.

Counting my daily blessings:
Seeing my girls' smile
A smooth morning routine
Coffee and Muffins for breakfast
A nice afternoon walk
A bright sun filled day

Mood: Sinus Headache
Weather: Sunny and 62 degrees
Dinner: Sliced Turkey and Gravy with rice and carrots
Music: none
Books: Mine: On chapter 21 Girls': On chapter Christmas

  1. Wow! I'm so excited for you getting to go on your trip. I've been to Atlanta (for the Olympics). It's very pretty. Not sure what there is to do, but I'm sure you know.

    Hope you are feeling better.

  2. OOOO I love your idea of getting away for a week. Jonathan and I agreed we are doing that when our kids (future tense) are old enough to travel. First years we will stay in SA or surrounding areas until they can start to appreciate where we are going. And we have at least ONE set of grandparents who will want the babies with them so we can take off for a weekend or two if needed. :)
