So as you can see from my background there is a birthday coming up in our house

and it's.....mine. I usually never do more than treat my birthday just like any other day of the year, this year is different though. Two of my dear friends....Sara (Scraps of Sara in my blog links) and Lisa (Living My Best Life in my links) are throwing me a ladies afternoon tea. My family always does the sweet things for me that I truly treasure....the acts of service that speak to my heart. My girls' and DH always cook and take care of the house for me. My girls' have gotten the crafty bug from me so they always make me the sweetest things. I have a few awesome girlfriends that I have known for years but none of them live in the same city with me. Over the last few years I have been blessed with a GREAT group of girlfriends' that live here through my home school group, MOPS, church, and our local scrap book group. I am so excited that these ladies want to share my birthday with me. I pray with these ladies and for them daily, they lift me up and encourage me all the time, and fellowship with any of them makes me feel so blessed to know them.

Dear Lord,
Thank you for these women and putting us in each others paths. Please bless them today and everyday. Have them know how much they each mean to you and to me. Please help them if they are struggling today! Let them know they are wonderfully made and each bring so much to others. I have learned something from each of them and I am glad for the blessing you have given us of friendship. In your son Christ's name I pray. Amen
