11 days and counting....

That is how long we have till vacation.....we are so excited!!!! Between now and then we have a lot going on. Youth group twice, bible study, MOPS, mom's meeting, school to get finished up before the break, packing, and the house to deep clean so we will just have light cleaning to do when we get back.

I got up this morning after not sleeping well last night and immediately had to get my caffeine fix so I could get going. We cleaned up, got dressed, and left to grab lunch....Yum love me some Taco Casa!!!! We ran into three other homeschool mom's....which is always so neat! Ran to Wal-Mart for a rubber spatula for our new pots and pans because we can't use metal on them. I went and finally got my tatoo fixed....Ela's name is now on there with the rest of the girls'. Then we hit Walgreen's for some lotion I love that is on sale this week.....love a good deal ya know. Walked in this pretty weather to grab the girls'.....now my MIL is making the yummiest smelling roast for dinner. KK is reorganizing her under bed storage so we can get out luggage to sit aside to be packed. Going to get in some more bible study tonight and a nice hot shower but that is about all I have planned....a nice relaxing evening.

Counting my blessings:
A great day out with 1/2 my kiddos
A clean and now organized house
A great vacation coming up
A wonderful dinner made for me by someone else
A night of nothing to do

Mood: Sense of accomplishment
Music: None
Weather: AWESOME
Dinner: Roast, Potatoes, Carrots, and Onions

  3. We are going to Atlanta....doing a City Pass which I hear Houston has now too. It will let me buy one booklet per person that gets us into the Zoo, Aquarium, Inside CNN Tour, The World of Coca-Cola, Fernbank Natural History Museum (which has a great dinosaur display right now), and the High Art Museum (which has a moving exhibit of the Chinese Terra Cotta Warriors and a Lourve Exhibition). We are also using our annual season passes to Six Flags while we are there. We got an extended stay suite with our AAA discount that turned out to be such an awesome deal, thank God for that cause we were going to camp.

  4. The City Pass in Houston is AWESOME! If I had actually moved as planned, I would be doing ALL kinds of stuff there. But I wouldn't be planning for wonderful children in my future. :D I hope San Antonio does that.
