We celebrated with another park party since last year was such a blast. She actually turns 7 on the 28th but I knew a Tuesday wasn't gonna work for a party. We will have our regular family dinner that night with our gifts to her. We made it a princess theme.....I even made a pink sprinkled cake (with huge princess head cookies)which they devoured. I have never not had left over cake, it was GREAT. Last year I did twice the decorations and I planned games too. They were only interested in running around and playing so this year I decided to make it easy peasy. I planned no activities, we had goldfish type crackers, cake, gatorade, and princess teddy graham cookies. We had minimal decorations, they all played well together, and even our associate pastor got in on the fun with them. I got to spend the end of the party after getting the pictures I wanted talking to one of my mom friends. The friends that showed up were from church and through our home school group. It was a nice number of kiddos running around too. The slide was the hit of the party or should I say the sand box at the bottom was. I can't believe she is 7 already....the time is flying by, it's scary. She had an absolute blast!!!!
