Simple Woman's Daybook Entry April 27th

For Today...

Outside my window... wonderfully great temps after the down pour that included lots of thunder, lightening, and hail.

I am thinking... that I need a Calgon take me away moment right now....whew am I needing a get away.

From the learning rooms... new week, new work

I am thankful for... cappuccino YUM

From the kitchen... a yummy roast with potatoes, onions, and carrots for dinner

I am wearing... khaki shorts, duck day race t-shirt, and bare feet

I am reading... the last week of my Esther study

I am hoping... to get some quiet time in at the library tomorrow

I am creating... just finished KK's display frame for her souvenir pennies from our Atlanta trip

I am praying... for my friend Kristin who just lost her husband and my sweet neighbor Shorty whose husband's funeral is tomorrow.

Around the house... it is quiet except for KK cleaning the kitchen and DIY on the t.v.

One of my favorite things... being on track with my weekly schedule!

A few plans for the rest of the week... library time, finish my study on Esther, Love Bug's 7th birthday tomorrow (family dinner with presents and brownies), Errand/Bill paying day on Thursday, and hopefully some quality sleep/minimal sinus troubles.

Here is a picture thought I am sharing with you...

  2. God sure knew what He was doing when he made her (well I guess that goes for all of us ;)...this child can soothe any bad day with a smile and a hug. She is the one that still wants to climb up in my lap (hope she still does that at 18), never forgets to hug and kiss me goodnight, always wants to read and pray with me, and requests I tuck her in every night before bed. I never want her to grow up!!!! :) Can't believe she will be 9 on the 28th!!!!!!

I am SAHM who home schooled her eldest child due to bully issues. We home schooled for four years and it worked out so well. I love to bake and try out new dishes. I love various types of music but, mostly listen to country and praise music. We have family movie and game nights so we love board games and movies. We have a hand full of shows we really enjoy on t.v. as well.
