Yesterday I was invited to the home of our home school associations President Miss Lisa P. It was beautiful.....
We talked, shared what we think our biggest challenges for the coming year would be, we ate great food, we laughed till we cried, and when we arrived one of my favorite necklaces broke....I caught it and Lisa's sweet jewelery making savvy daughter fixed it for me good as new. One of our newer home school mom's joined us (she is really nice and super funny....I love getting to know new people).
We had a delicious mixed green salad with mandarin oranges, toasted/sugared nuts, and homemade dressing, we had mini quiche, swedish meatballs, homemade bread, and cheesecake with berries and whipped cream.
Adding to this.... I ADORE this group of women!!!! They lift me up, encourage me, pray for me, give me rides if need be, and make me so thankful for the blessing of friends' the good Lord has given me!!!! I am better for knowing them....to the ones who for whatever reason could not join us yesterday....(you know who all you are) you were missed and you are adored too. ;) When I joined this group I really wasn't looking for such deep friendships but I am truly glad that the Lord always has better plans for me!!!!!!
