"What we did on vacation"....Part 4

Day 4-Wednesday was Fort Worth Zoo day....we went there on the last vacation to the area and completely agreed with it's #5 rating among zoo's in the country.  A few new things had been added since our last visit...however; we learned one crucial lesson for next Spring Break.  We will be checking the area we are intending to travel to, we need to see if their area schools are on Spring Break as well.  Oh My Goodness....packed doesn't even cover it.  Six extra dirt parking lots set up and cars lined out the entrance and  backed up more than several blocks down to the nearest freeway exit.  All we wanted to do at about the two hour mark was get back to the gate and out to the car.  We tried to make the sprint to the entrance fun...snapping pics as we went LOL.  After making it back to the car in the third makeshift lot we headed for lunch.  We decided to eat at my all time favorite fast food place. I dream of there being one in our town one day....Chik-Fil-A, nuff said ;) ;)  After a very yummy lunch we headed  for the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History...this garnered DH and I the "very best parents on the planet award" from our Love Bug.  This place had a little bit of something for everyone...down to a planetarium laser light show set to music.  After the museum we hit the mall and the food court....I had the yummiest Philly Cheesesteak sandwich.  Plus I got to try my first ever Orange Julius which was AWESOME!!!  Diva and I did some on sale shopping for her at Wet Seal.  Our night was capped off by DH in the one store I was avoiding going near (of course the little girls' spotted it right away).  Build-A-Bear Workshop.....I feel like I should hear Ahhhhh Ahhhhh Ahhhh right about now LOL.  My sweety couldn't stop at the three girls'....I had to have the limited edition Irish bear he said.  When I was happy with just that he said nope....she needs an outfit too :)  I never got to do anything like that as a girl!  So for about an hour I got to be a little girl again too...thanks babe you really are the best!!  We headed back to the car with our new bear family members and to the hotel for a great nights sleep.
